Please Join us on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 8th at 1:00pm for DLC’s Annual Meeting at the Runneymede Equestrian Center. We will also be celebrating DLC’s 15th Anniversary!
The business meeting will begin at 1:00pm, followed by presentations by Dave Cable with TreesDavidson and Stewart Gray of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission. At 2:00pm, there will be a hike of the Runneymede Conservation Easement, 50 acres of predominately pristine woodlands, extending along both the Mecklenburg and the Cabarrus sides of the Rocky River east of Davidson. Come see the rich, mature forest; a historic mill site and quarry; and impressive rock formations, including the Whale Rock, purportedly the largest granite outcrop in Cabarrus County.
Please join us at the Runneymede property and help us celebrate 15 years of the Davidson Lands Conservancy’s hard work in our community!
